WHO WE ARE

We are vagabonds of the unknown, exploring and mastering the design and fabrication of each commissioned idea to bring YOUR story to life. At Twenty1Five, creativity runs wild while detailed artistry reigns king. At the helm, founder Josh Mabe inspires innovation and leads by example. He started Twenty1Five with a mission to make old things new, originally specializing in reclaimed wood furniture. Today at Twenty1Five, Josh is joined by architect Brandt Vanderbosh and a small team of skilled craftsmen focused on transforming and customizing entire, modern environments.

“Our creativity has never been reproducible. In our shop, creativity is a way of life. It’s the grinding crucible of problem solving, every single day. But we aren’t just striving to be creative; we are driven to be the best in design, construction and fabrication.”

JOSH MABE

PARTNER

Josh Mabe is the artist and inspiration behind Twenty1Five. His passion for furniture making was ignited when he was a middle school shop teacher. He saved scrap wood from his students’ projects and incorporated them into his own projects. His belief that any piece of wood can be rediscovered to fit both artistically and functionally into furniture and home design remains foundational to his business today.

Josh founded Twenty1Five alongside his wife, Jennica, in the family’s garage in 2011. His drive and creativity fuel the company’s growth, resulting in projects that defy expectations and transform entire environments. Outside of the shop, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids at the creek by his house, mountain biking and snowboarding.

BRANDT VANDERBOSCH

PARTNER

Brandt Vanderbosch has a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, and partnering with Twenty1Five offers him the unique opportunity to return to his roots. As a child, Brandt was immersed in crafting and building distinctive projects at a lakefront resort in Michigan alongside his grandfather, and at age 15 he started working in construction as a master carpenter and homebuilder. Today, at the helm of Vertical Arts Architecture and its interior design arm Stel House + Home, Brandt bridges the gap from architecture and design to fabrication and furniture for high-end custom residential, hospitality and large commercial projects. Joining forces with the Twenty1Five team enhances the company’s ability to fulfill more specialty environment and furniture fabrication needs. With Twenty1Five’s close partnership, Brandt is able to craft Vertical Arts’ designs at a greater level of scale and with a high level design process. Brandt is heavily involved in the Steamboat Springs community coaching youth sports and loves to spend time outside of the office playing recreational volleyball or exploring the outdoors with his family.
