With a modern farmhouse exterior these clients requested that we design their basement to be a different world apart from the rest of the RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT. Guiding you from the upper level of the farmhouse feel and delivering you into the downstairs modern industrial world is a refined steel stair railing that initiates this transition. The first thing you see as you walk into this environment is our favorite piece: a massive sliding glass door system that we installed on a custom track cantilevered from the above structural I-beam. Moving over to the bar area we combined geometric rigidity with the organic flow of nature to create a fun and inviting one-of-a-kind space.
